La producción de caracoles es una dirección bastante interesante para los agricultores., y la renta por hectárea es de varias decenas de miles de euros.
Georgia se ha sumado a la lista de países a los que se les permite exportar caracoles al mercado de la UE, dijo el Ministerio de Agricultura en un comunicado.

As the head of the Ministry of Agriculture Levan Davitashvili noted earlier, snail production is quite an interesting direction for farmers in terms of its cost. The income from one hectare is several tens of thousands of euros. In agriculture, the emphasis on areas with greater added value is a state priority.
Within the framework of the Preferential Agricultural Loan Project, 38 loans were issued in the amount of more than 10 million lari for the creation and development of snail production, while the co-financing issued by the Rural Development Agency amounted to more than 824 thousand lari.
Georgia signed an Association Agreement with the EU in 2014, an integral part of which is the Deep and Comprehensive Free Trade Area Agreement.
